The three steps of a redesign
A redesign is three steps: admit, turn, walk again. The order cannot be swapped, and the first is hardest — admitting costs more than the other two combined. And a redesign does not erase what came before. It redraws the remaining plan from where you stand now.

Too late is usually not true. As long as plan remains, it can be redrawn.
